Simple Scrapbook Layouts and Placement
The layout of your scrapbook is one of the most important elements to consider when designing your new album. There are many different way that you can decide on the correct simple scrapbook layout. First the size of you album will effect the simple layouts. Start with a sheet from your new album and sketch in a few lines outlining pictures and areas for other placements. Lay some of your selected pictures onto the pages for better idea of placement. I like to cut out index cards in all my picture sizes just to move around on the page. Place one, two, or three photos on a page and try to decide if it looks cluttered. Remember that you do not need to stuff all your pictures into a small album. Being able to flip through that pages and absorb each is more enjoyable than being overwhelmed.
Think about an overall theme of your album. Are you creating your album to commemorate a wedding, birth, or just for fun? Look at the pictures you want to add for inspiration. Decide on a general color scheme and other items you will want to add for accentuation. Use these suggestions to help work on your simple scrapbook layout before placing pictures for a better design. It will help to create a better scrapbook overall.
